How the Farm Trust Score works

Every product and every passport batch gets a score from 0 to 100. It is worked out from records we keep, the same way for everything. No guesswork and no AI.

The six parts

1. Traceability25

   The product is linked to a Farm Passport batch that anyone can open. A batch that is linked but not yet public gets 8.

2. Lab tested25

   A lab report for the batch from the last 12 months. Full points up to 3 months old, then slowly less, down to 10 at one year. Older or missing: 0.

3. Care log15

   Care log entries for the batch (feeding, water checks, harvest) in the last 60 days. 5 points per entry, up to 15.

4. Customer reviews20

   Average star rating. We start every product at 3 stars counted as 5 reviews, so one 5-star review cannot max it out. More reviews move it closer to the real average.

5. Low returns10

   Refunds and warranty complaints compared with orders. Full points need at least 5 orders with no problems.

6. Our promise5

   A written warranty (2 points, or 3 for 30 days or more) and a refund or replacement policy (2 points).

What the colours mean

• Trust 80 and above: strong
• Trust 60 to 79: fair
• Trust Below 60: still building up records

If we have no record for a part, that part scores 0. A new product starts low and rises as we add passports, lab tests, care logs and your reviews.
